Daniel Boulud’s Dinex Group

The Dinex Group is the corporate entity that owns and manages Daniel Boulud’s restaurants and enterprises. There are few chefs as passionate about wine as Daniel Boulud. His commitment to building interesting wine cellars and programs in his restaurants is why I accepted the opportunity in the fall of 2005 to work with the best chef in America today. What I find most exciting is being able to work with such a diverse range of restaurants, from 5-star fine dining at Restaurant Daniel, to the slightly more low-key atmosphere of Café Boulud, to the casual bistro style of DB Bistro Moderne and now the Bar Boulud wine bar. Each restaurant has its own style and clientele and this diversity allows me to work with the team of sommeliers in seeking out wines appropriate for each establishment.
